4 m pixel resolution IKONOS image of entire island captured in 2001 available in true and false colour. Georeferenced for GIS (MapInfo). Electronic copy held by KIRMA and SOPAC.

 

Quickbird satellite image available on Google Earth. Access by clicking the following kmz file (thanks to Pete Kelsey of Autodesk) - to access you need to have Google Earth installed on your computer.

 

 

 

Available from the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands Image Archive. A number of reels show coastal scenes including pictures of coastal damage at Tafunsak and Walung due to large swell conditions in 1979.
